Hi, l’m Ariel, I’m from Sichuan, China. My first language is Sichuanese which is a dialect from southwest of China. I do speak fluently in Mandarin of course.I’m looking for a study buddy as I have a very short attention span and I have had no motivation and it’s been so hard for me to focus. I live in Auckland and love to travel every couple of years. I believe you have a better experience when you speak the language of the country you travel to. I speak Italian fairly well and Spanish quite well and am part of a Spanish meetup group so can practice. However I have started Portuguese a year ago and there are no Portuguese groups here. I'd like to practise European Portuguese in the evening or weekends and would love to chat with someone from Portugal! I'm in my sixties but happy to talk to people of any age.

Hi, I am Jay from South Korea. I work as a chef. I live in Auckland NZ. I've been here for 5years but still my englishs is not good. I can speak English for daily conversation but still hard to understand TV or movie. I think I only understand 50% of it. I used to teach Korean to my flatmates' daughter. I am not a teacher so it was good challenge myself and her. I want to speak english as much as I can and someone correct my sentence. I hope I make friends to help each other.
