I am 34 years old and grew up in Germany. Since I have always been curious about different cultures I set myself the goal of becoming fluent in English. So why not combine both interests right?!
Besides English it would be a pleasure to refresh my French a little and I haven't given up on my dream of learning Japanese yet, so I'll be very honoured if someone is willing (and patient xD) to help me a little bit. If you need a helping hand with German I am willing to try my best to help you out. If you just want to chat casually we can do so.

I am Luisa, 19, from Germany, currently living in Shanghai, China.
So: I am intensively learning Mandarin for some weeks now and would love to have someone to talk to for 1-2 hours a week (more is also fine) and have a daily message.
I love nature and everything around this: I am travelling for almost a year now, mostly sleeping in tents somewhere in the middle of nowhere. And now I landed in Shanghai (a little little bit different) and because my time here is limited, I want to catch up as much Mandarin as possible.
Also I am interested in Sciences, Sports, Books (big love for Philosophie and History here) aand: languages. I learned Dutch so that I am able to do my bachelor in this language. Spending some time in Turkey, I started to learn Turkish but far from fluent here haha and now, not being in this country anymore, the motivation is lacking.
So: language-exchange-wise:
I taught German before during my stay in Turkey. Also to high-school students, but thats different hahah because it was their mothertongue of course.
I want to have a language buddy, whom I can talk to, to get the right pronounciation and so on. Maybe we can have like 2-3 sessions a week where we talk like 30 mins in German and 30 mins in Mandarin or something like this (doesn't have to be that fixes ofc, but I prefer consistency). Talking for me is the most important. My current level is A1, so a total beginner; but you don't have to be a beginner of course.
Maybe it is also possible to have like a message a day, maybe about how the day was, and than get it corrected from you:)

Ich bin Luisa und komme aus Deutschland. Aktuell lebe ich in Shanghai, China. Also: Ich bin gerade sehr intensiv am chinesisch lernen und würde total gerne jemanden haben, mit dem ich mich 1-2 Stunden die Woche (gerne auch mehr) unterhalten könnte. Vielleicht sogar ein paar Nachrichten schreiben, wäre bestimmt hilfreich.
Ich bin totaler Naturliebhaber und alles was damit zu tun hat: Ich reise seit fast einem Jahr, wobei ich meist in Zelten geschlafen habe; mitten im Nirgendwo. Und ja, jetzt in SH (ein klein wenig anders). Weil meine Zeit hier auf 3 Monate limitiert ist, will ich so schnell wie möglich so viel Mandarin, wie es nur geht, mitnehmen.
Ich interessiere mich auch für Naturwissenschaften, Sport, Bücher (meine Lieblinge hier sind Philosophie und Geschichte) uund: Sprachen. Ich habe letztes Jahr Niederländisch gelernt, sodass ich jetzt meinen Bachelor in dieser Sprache machen werde. Als ich in der Türkei gewesen bin, habe ich auch mit Türkisch begonnen, jedoch bin ich noch sehr am Anfang und jetzt, wo ich nicht mehr im Lande bin, fehlt die Motivation so ein wenig.
Also: Den Sprachaustausch betreffend:
Ich habe deutsch unterrichtet, als ich in der Türkei war und auch viele Jahre lang Abiturienten unterstützt. Das ist natürlich was Anderes, da es ihre Muttersprache war.
Ich hätte gern jemanden zum Lernen, mit dem ich mich über alles mögliche (bzw. das wofür das Vokabular ausreicht) unterhalten kann und vor allem an meiner Aussprache üben kann. Vielleicht können wir uns ja 2-3 Mal die Woche treffen (digital oder analog) und 30 min deutsch und 30 min mandarin sprechen. Muss natürlich nicht so streng sein, aber ich würde es gerne sehr regelmäßig machen. Ich bin gerade noch auf A1-Niveau, also ein totaler Anfänger. Das heißt aber natürlich, dass du auch Anfänger sein musst. Vielleicht ist ja auch so etwas wie eine tägliche Textnachricht möglich, in der wir uns über unseren Tag erzählen und die dann korrigiert wieder zurück kommt.
Wenn das so ungefähr mit deinen Vorstellungen übereinstimmt, freue ich mich darauf von dir zu hören und vielleicht mit dir zu lernen.
