Hi, I'm Mariko. I moved to Atlanta, GA from Japan amid the Covid pandemic in 2020. I'm studying English because I live in the U.S. right now and want to make friends as much as I can. I am a female in 40's and live in Tokyo, looking to make friends with female language learners and communicate online. I have traveled to about 20 countries and work as a freelance in international communication.
I speaks English and can mostly convey what I want to say, have been tryin to expand my vocabularies to speak more smoothly these years. Also I want to learn more about the cultural aspect of speaking in English, which can vary from one area to another.
Also I learned Korean a bit in Uni and have been self-studying on and off. I can't type it though can make basic conversation and am keen to improve it.
