I am from Northern California and am living in Santiago for at least 6 months. I lived in Barcelona in my youth for 2 years and was fluent in Spanish by the time I left, but I have forgotten most of the vocabulary I knew then. I am currently a psychotherapist but was a university level teacher of English as a Foreign language before that. I have led women’s groups on the Camino and this fall will be leading a group on the Camino for psychotherapists exploring parallels between the healing that happens on the Camino and the healing that can happen in psychotherapy. I am interested in the medieval and prehistoric history of Galicia and the Camino. And I have my sweet dog with me here in Santiago. I would love to do a conversation exchange to improve my Spanish and help you develop your skills in English.

Hola, tengo 50 años. Me gusta leer, caminar y seguir aprendiendo cosas nuevas. Actualmente estoy enfocándome en mejorar mi inglés: lo entiendo medianamente de forma razonable, pero todavía me cuesta expresarme con fluidez. Aun así, tengo muchas ganas de avanzar y lograr hablarlo bien.

Soy una persona sin problema para hablar de cualquier tema. Me gustan las historias y distintas perspectivas de vida. También la cultura, la música y el cine. Soy amante de los perros. Me considero de mentalidad abierta, soy inquieta y curiosa mentalmente hablando. Me interesan temas de actualidad, el feminismo, los derechos lgtbi y las cuestiones sociales y me encanta aprender y hacerme consciente de otras vivencias ajenas a mí o que me hagan plantearme cosas que nunca me había planteado.

Hola. Me llamo Leo. Puedo hablar Español y Gallego (ambos nativos). y tengo conocimiento básico de inglés.
Quiero aprender Chino mandarin (y quizá cuando domine éste, intente aprender coreano o japo nuevamente...). Tengo versatilidad para hablar/escribir todo tipo de temas de conversación, así que espero que ambas partes podamos abarcar todos los detalles de los idiomas ^^

Hello.
Je m'appelle Christophe, j'ai 42 ans et je suis français d'origine hispano-portugaise.
A Santiago de Compostela depuis 3 mois et pour encore quelques temps, je cherche surtout à parler français avec quelqu'un "en vrai" :D Je veux dire : j'en ai marre de parler h24 espagnol/galicien et mis à part par téléphone avec amis/parents, le franco-français me manque de fou (ma famille maternelle vit ici et ne parle que espagnol ou le galicien donc ca arrange nada).
Je parle déjà couramment l'espagnol, le galicien, l'anglais et le portugais. Non pas que je sature avec l'espagnol mais j'ai besoin de reco un peu avec le pays.
Donc si toi aussi tu recherches à parler full FR comme si t'étais à la maison et raconter tout et n'importe quoi, on peut s'entendre. Tant que la conversation n'est pas dans une autre langue que le FR, ca me va (j'adapte en fonction).
Sinon dans la vie, 100% Parisien pur jus version pas râleur et plutôt spontané.
