I am a semi - retired Brit who is an unabashed Francophile, I love France, I try to speak the language (je parle comme une vache espagnole!) And I am exploring my French ancestry, well, I hope to prove I have French Ancestry. I am very happily married to a fellow Brit who .. (sigh) prefers to speak German to our son and his German "petite copine"...So I am always on the lookout for native French speakers who will be willing to learn English and who want to understand English humour and who want to help me speak more fluently. I think I am about CEFR level B1, I have been learning for about 4 years now with a French Tutor who - bizarrely loves the UK and a US based French tutor who helps more with structure and pronunciation. I am a retired Procurement manager who worked in the Pharma Industry , I have a fabulous daughter who just happens to have Down's Syndrome and I sit on the Boards of 3 charities.. Just to warn you of the sort of topics I like to discuss...
