Hello, I'm Dongju. I was born in South Korea but moved to Canada when I was 10 so I speak both Korean and English fluently. I am farming in the mountainside in Korea but at the moment I'm travelling for the winter season. I like hiking, playing guitar, and outdoor activities. I want to speak Mandarin well so I'm looking for a language partner. I would say I'm an upper beginner level. I'm staying in Malaysia. I moved here 1.5 years ago. I started learning Chinese 3 months ago. It would be hard to do conversation in Chinese. I wanna practice my pronunciation. I have been living and working in Malaysia as an English teacher for 10 years and I want to improve my Malay fluency. I'm looking to make friends who are patient and will engage in meaningful conversation. I'm reasonably fluent in basic everyday interactions, although my pronunciation is a bit 'British,' but I'd like to engage in more challenging topics to broaden my vocabulary and improve my fluency.
