I’m a native English speaker with a big interest in Vietnamese and coastal Chinese Culture. i am currently working on a book series about a strong female pirate and i am looking to do a culture exchange to learn more about the areas im righting about (and to make a penpal)
Some of my hobbies include Southeast Asian history, creative writing, music, and animation. I also enjoy relaxing with tea and exploring Buddhism. I’m friendly, curious, and always open to good conversations. looking to learn vietnamese and Laotian culture as well as china- VERY interested in Hongkong and Macau. as well as Hainan,Guang Dong and Guangxi. i know 2 people who live localy that live half the year in china and the other half live here to run a very upscale pottery and tea store.

日本語Hi, I love languages. I’m fluent in Chinese, good enough to theoretically teach beginners or even intermediate learners, but maybe better to leave that to native speakers. My mother tongue is German, I’m also fluent in English.
I am currently learning Korean and trying to practice more via texting, I have a teacher but am looking for something to keep me occupied in short bursts in between.

I also like speaking with lots of slang / everyday language. I live in Sheffield and work as a radio sound engineer / designer. I like music that goes well with Mediterranean food and hot nights outside, keeping fit, psychedelics, socialising, sitting by a tree on a hillside on a nice day. Wonderism not terrorism !

My name is Julian and I live in the Liverpool area of the north of England. I am looking to do a language exchange with a native Arabic speaker.
I studied Arabic many years ago at university and learnt Fusha and Egyptian dialect but today I would struggle to have even a basic conversation. So, if you're happy to help me become conversational in Arabic and are patient in nature it would be good to speak to you.
In return I can help you with your English. In my job I am an English teacher and I am also a writer so my level and understanding of English is above average. I can help you whether you want to just be able to speak conversationally or whether you wish to acquire a more sophisticated and refined English.
I have a relaxed approach to learning and try to make the sessions enjoyable and fun too.
I use Zoom for language exchanges though I'm happy to use an alternative if you prefer.
My interests are politics, literature, cinema, walking, swimming, watching football, chatting with friends in cafes and learning languages.
