Hi!こんにちは。はじめまして。 I’m Ruri from Japan. My hobbies are reading comic essays and books, watching dramas and movies, walking in parks, and of course learning languages. I speak a little English and Spanish, and I’ve recently started learning Swedish. I’m very interested in Nordic culture and lifestyle. I’d be happy to connect with someone who is interested in Japan, the Japanese language, or culture. It would be great if we could share about both Nordic countries and Japan together. Looking forward to getting to know you! よろしくおねがいします。

l used to teach English and math to children, but I'm currently taking a break and working a different job. I want to properly relearn English. I enjoy singing Western music, and I'm good at going to karaoke and whistling songs. I've previously volunteered to guide foreign tourists around Mount Takao and sang Western music with them at a karaoke bar in Shinjuku. I'd love to exchange languages with foreigners living in Japan while chatting at a cafe or something!

Primarily, according to my doctors, I have ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), also I have several sad secrets in my heart. *Weep* My hands tremble. That's why it's difficult for me to use my hands :( It's difficult for me to walk on account of pain of near my stomach (Around my solar plexus.) I frequently feel I'm all alone :( That's why I hope I can make friends in here. ([Including or through here?] Language Exchange) I AM SO SENSITIVE, EVERYBODY AROUND ME SAY SO. I HAVE BEEN SO SAD FOR REASONS :( My name is Ukyo. My native language is only Japanese. I started learning English in 1999 April. However, I can't (understand or follow here?) any hard English. For instance, I have possessed (←A regular verb or an irregular verb?) a book written in English since 2006. The English in that book is hard for me to (understand or follow here?). The title of that book is CONFUCIUS LIVES NEXT DOOR (By T.R. REID). I think this book can be checked on the Internet. (I could.) I wish I could read this with native speakers of English even little by little. I'd like to improve my English more. That's why. I have my email address (uqrim@yahoo.co.jp), Facebook (Ukyo Morikawa, the same profile photo of me as here), LINE ID (qwerty44ukyo). However, I'm afraid I don't know if I have the QR code to add you to my LINE or not. I think that, when you show me your QR code to add you to my LINE, I can add you to my LINE? Actually, when I tried to add (someone or anybody here?) even if I input their LINEs again and again and again, I couldn't add them. They told me their QR codes to add them to my LINE, I tried, and I could add them finally. I check my email, Facebook, LINE, and here (Language Exchange) almost every day. (Mainly, every night) How about you? Although I have LINE, email and Facebook messenger and so forth are easier for me to use than LINE. I am practicing using LINE too of course, though. Nice to meet you. Questions: 1: Have you ever seen the word "Appurtenant?" The book I mentioned has this word. This is a very high level word according to the instructor. Few native speakers of English has seen this. Is "Appurtenant" an adjective or a noun? 2: In what situation(s), can "How do you like them apples?" "Look what the cat dragged in?" be used? 3: Have you ever heard "Can you make a shoe stink?" The American who I know told me this. I used to learn English from him. He lives in Japan. According to him, he has never seen "Appurtenant." I mentioned. To All members: 1: How often do you (come to or use here?) Language Exchange? I check almost every day. (Mainly every night) 2: How can I use the function of correction in Language Exchange? 3: Many member profiles display the time when they visit Language Exchange very last, but many member profiles do not display how come? [As a matter of fact, I don't understand how to use Language Exchange very well yet.] 4: If I use the function of the video phone call in LINE with people who are not in Japan, is it free? 5: I have heard that, even if we don't have LINE ID, we CAN message on LINE with people who I know. True? I have my LINE ID, though. ===================================================================== I had stayed in the hospital. (psychiatry) and still keep seeing my doctor regularly, fundamentally once in two weeks. (Sigh) I used to commute to Gastroenterology, however, I haven't seen that doctor for a while. (I used to see him BEFORE I stayed in the psychiatry.)

Hi. I'm a Japanese man learning languages. If you are interested in learning Japanese, please send me a message. I like studying languages, listening to music, reading words words words. I hope that you know good ones that I don't know yet. I mean, please share with me your favorite songs, books etc., or words if you happen to be in love with particular words. I am not good - or more precisely, terrible - at speaking but I happen to like listening to people speaking, and we can text-chat when we should, so that doesn't constitute a problem, and my speaking skill will improve at a truly remarkable speed just with your help so there will be no problem. Once upon a time there was an app called skype but it is dead now, so I intend to use another app, Teams, for our communication. Looking forward to talking with you. こんにちは。
