I'm a traveler, touring cyclist, and photographer.
I want to learn Spanish so I can talk to the locals in my travels and get critical information when travelling by bike-- areas to avoid, places to camp, where to find water, the like. Especially since the areas that I want to travel to are as far away from tourist areas as possible and I don't want to rely on somebody else having to speak English when I should be the one speaking the language of the host country I happen to be in.
I'm also extremely interested in learning about other cultures, the small details are oftentimes the most interesting and tell the most about another country and it's culture.
I'm looking for a Pen Pal to exchange emails with so I can improve my written skills in Spanish.

I am recently retired and have been studying Italian since January 2021. I am very active with tai chi, water aerobics, walking and an exercise program. I enjoy friends - chatting, politics, walking, going to restaurants, cinema and opera. I love travel. My first visit to Italy was in 2019. I intend to return.
