I have many interests: reading (please give me your recommendations!), anime, manga, kdramas, going to the gym, kickboxing, going for walks, museums, theatres, and health (physical and mental), to name but a few. I listen to a lot of genres of music (e.g. rock, classical, Kpop)
I'd consider myself a bit of an introvert but I enjoy having conversations with others.
PS: Just in case, I want to make it clear that I'm NOT here for a romantic relationship, but to get to know each other as a FRIEND, have a nice talk and practice the languages.

I have always enjoyed learning languages and have a love of different cultures.
I studied French and Spanish at University but have always wanted to learn Polish.
My father was a Polish Refugee who fled the Russians in 1947 as he had fought bravely in the Home Army against the Germans and then had to escape communist Poland. My father was only 19 when he arrived here. My mother was Irish and sadly,
I never learnt my father's language.
I began learning Polish some weeks ago and am a beginner, but I am determined.
So, I am hoping to find someone who wishes to learn English in exchange for Polish.
I live in Leeds in England and it would be great to meet someone who could help. I am willing to travel to nearby towns and cities.
I love walking and we could combine a weekly walk with language exchange (but this is not necessary either)
I am very young at heart and so it does not matter to me, what age you are. I work evening shifts and am available during the day and some evenings. My work has been predominantly with vulnerable people:- homeless people, Care-Leavers, vulnerable families and I currently work in a crisis service. I love to dance and to attend live music events.

Mój ojciec był polskim uchodźcą, który uciekł przed Rosjanami w 1947, bo dzielnie walczył w Armii Krajowej przeciwko Niemcom, a potem musiał uciec z komunistycznej Polski. Mój ojciec miał zaledwie 19 lat, kiedy tu przyjechał. Moja matka była Irlandką i niestety
Nigdy nie nauczyłem się języka ojca.
Zacząłem uczyć się polskiego kilka tygodni temu i jestem początkujący, ale jestem zdeterminowany.
Mam więc nadzieję, że znajdę kogoś, kto zechce uczyć się angielskiego w zamian za polski.
Mieszkam w Leeds w Anglii i byłoby wspaniale spotkać kogoś, kto mógłby pomóc. Chętnie podróżuję do okolicznych miasteczek i miasteczek.
Uwielbiam spacery i możemy połączyć tygodniowy spacer z wymianą językową (ale to też nie jest konieczne)
Jestem bardzo młoda duchem, więc nie ma dla mnie znaczenia, w jakim jesteś wieku. Pracuję na wieczorne zmiany i jestem dostępny w ciągu dnia i niektórych wieczorów. Moja praca dotyczyła przede wszystkim osób w trudnej sytuacji: - bezdomnych, osób wymagających opieki, rodzin w trudnej sytuacji i obecnie pracuję w służbie kryzysowej. Uwielbiam tańczyć i brać udział w wydarzeniach muzycznych na żywo.

I’m 71, long time divorced, retired have a son & two grandsons aged 20 and 16. Have an allotment & grow fruit & vegetables. Longtime interest in health. Do Pilates, yoga & QiQong. Learning Russian through Duolingo for last 5 years - to make use of my Ukrainian and learn a different language ( brain exercise) but don’t get to have conversations.

I would like to learn Chinese (Mandarin) and Korean as I have some important business trips coming up in Beijing and Seoul. Knowing some basics would be really helpful for this! I would especially like to learn some useful expressions for social situations.
My interests include sports, movies, keeping fit, hiking, good food, pubs and cafes. I enjoy talking about anything and everything.
