おはよう!🙋🏻♀️
Hi there! My name is Maggie, originally from Poland, but I've been living in the UK for 18 years now. I started learning Japanese around two years ago, but progress has been a bit slow, mostly because I don’t have enough opportunities to practice speaking.
I’m here to improve my conversation skills and to learn more about Japan. I have a wide range of interests, including music, books, martial arts (I practice Shaolin Kung Fu), food, and, of course, all aspects of Japanese culture.
My love for Japanese hardcore/punk music is actually what got me started with learning Japanese in the first place. By day, I work as an accountant, but I also run a small record label called Chopstick Records, where I release Japanese hardcore music in the UK. I also write a blog dedicated to the Japanese hardcore scene, where I publish interviews with musicians, album reviews, and anything related to the underground music scene in Japan. I’m passionate about promoting Japanese artists on this side of the world!
I enjoy talking to people and hearing their stories, especially if we can do it over a nice cup of coffee or tea. I can help you with both English and Polish, so feel free to reach out if you're looking for language exchange. Let’s chat! 🌸

Hello, my name is Alisha but people call me Ali. I am a transcriptionist and writer. My transcription work, sadly, is being replaced by AI so I have been writing about this where I can, along with other short stories and article. I also volunteer at an animal shelter. I want to learn Japanese and Mandarin and then move on to other languages. I can help you learn English if you can help me. There is only so much you can achieve with books and recordings! Thank you!

My name is Michele. I’m married and have two grown children. I used to work in museum curation and then later in university administration. I am now planning to study at a Turkish university and therefore really need to improve my Turkish. I speak native American English, Spanish and French. I love travelling, staying active and fit and perpetually learning.

Hi, nice to meet you. I'm Louise, and I really love traditional Chinese culture. I'm also a fan of the ancient Chinese style. I enjoy writing, singing, reading novels, watching anime, and some movies and TV shows. Currently, I‘m studying in London, and I want to improve my English listening and speaking skills. If you'd like to learn Chinese and also enjoy Chinese culture, let's be friends!

Ciao!
A presto!

Hi!
My name is Kerry, I am 24 and from the south of the UK
I am currently trying to practice Mandarin and I dream to go to China one day!
I like listening to music, playing video games (Valorant, Fortnite, Overwatch and League of Legends) I may not be very good at them but I enjoy them a lot!
I would love to learn how to get around a country easy, as well as play games online with Chinese people! Tell me about your culture and I can tell you about England!

I recently moved to London. This is my second time in London for work but this time my family remains Tokyo due to the work and school. I would like to improve my conversational English as I am still struggling coming up with natural phrases without pausing and Ah..ing.
I look forward to talking with you!

Hello!
I'm looking for American English speakers to practice English with, and I can teach Spanish in return. I'm originally from Spain and I have teaching experience.
I've lived in the UK for the last 8 years and in Canada for few months. I love travelling, hiking, reading, watching movies...
It would be great to find someone who wants to practice English/Spanish on a videocall. Maybe we can talk 30 minutes in English and another 30 in Spanish? I'm great at finding topics for conversation!
Hope to talk to you soon,
Esti
