Hi there!
My name is Alexander. Three years ago, I moved to Georgia, and I've been enjoying life here ever since. I love the local nature—mountains, hiking, and breathtaking landscapes. Tbilisi, in particular, has won me over with its unique terrain, beautiful sky, and stunning sunsets.
Right now, I'm planning to move to Europe in search of new opportunities and a better life. That's why I'm looking for a language exchange partner to practice and improve my skills.
A bit about me and my work
I'm a UX/UI designer—I design websites, mobile apps, and platforms. I stumbled into this field by accident when I decided to try designing websites, only to discover a fascinating and multifaceted profession.
Creativity has never been my strong suit, as I've always been more interested in programming, science, and technical fields. In fact, I originally studied medicine. However, three years ago, I made the decision to leave university, move out of Russia, and start working as a designer. In this field, I found a balance between technical and creative aspects. Still, I haven’t given up on my goal of completing my medical education—hopefully in Europe.
My interests
I'm curious about a lot of things, though I don’t always find the time to pursue them as much as I’d like :)
Traveling and hiking – I love nature, mountains, and exploring new places.
Crafts and knitting – I even knitted a scarf once!
Cooking – I enjoy making food, reading culinary books, and trying to develop an intuitive sense for flavors so I can cook without relying too much on recipes. I’ve been meaning to get into meal prepping, but it never quite works out.
Music – I love discovering new tracks, even though I’m not an expert in genres or artists.
Languages – I enjoy picking up random expressions from different languages.
Movies, games, series, anime – I have a broad range of interests in entertainment.
Drawing – I'd love to learn, but my attempts have always failed due to inconsistency.
