Hey, I'm Corey and I've been studying Mandarin on Duolingo for almost 3 years, but still have the worst time trying to talk to my mother in law. She busts my beans about it all the time, so I wanna get better! Plus, how can I trash talk my Uncle while playing mahjong if I can't speak his language?!

I'm from Wisconsin originally, grew up in Jamaica, and lived in Chicago for 12 years before coming out to LA, so I've got a an experience that should help you learn regional elements of English when we talk. I used to be a DJ, but now I produce comedy shows and run a marketing agency. Down to grab a drink or take a walk and try to figure this language thing out. 😊
