概要
Born and raised in Germany, lived for a number of years in Scotland, now for 20 years in Sweden. Working as an English-language science editor.
I am currently studying Mandarin on the side. Formal training I get in class, but I am in dear need of speaking practice. It still sounds terrible and requires a lot of gesturing and grimacing, but I can now have a conversation about most topics. At least I am past the stage where a chat is limited to 我喜欢喝茶。As per course level, I should be somewhere between B1 and B2, but that depends a lot on the topic.
I can offer more or less native level German, English and Swedish in return. (And free tickets to my exercise classes).
Interests: languages, training, handcraft, Scifi/Fantasy, roleplay, beer, modern dance performances, wushu, Chinese TV series...
