Hi, my name is Jabulani and Jabu for is the shortened version.

I'm learning Portuguese because there seem to be similar sounds to Zulu and I'm learning a new language because I'd like to learn new things and meet people.

Also, through learning languages I hope to find interesting opportunities.

In general I'm a very serious person and I am interested all kinds of things, currently I'm interested in energy, economics. I also like to laugh or make light of things. I don't think it's a contradiction to be serious and also enjoy good fun.

Also, through learning another language I hope to gain some understanding of different cultures too.

I'm an absolute beginner in the sense that I can probably understand about 10 to 15% of Portuguese spoken slowly. I'm using the free course that was published by American government.
