Hey there, fellow language enthusiasts! I am a 50-year-old native English speaker, with university level teaching experience in the French Alps.
I have a basic grasp of Russian and I have an intermediate+ level of Spanish acquired in South America and in the maritime industry. I am ready to embark on a linguistic journey with you. Let’s swap stories over a ☕️ or a🧉!
I am budding geology aficionado, I am keen to connect with like-minded individuals for language exchange adventure. I greatly enjoy delving into books, such as geographical themes, the sea, nature and culture.
I have a passion for hiking and sharing my knowledge of the natural world.
I don’t think my Russian is good enough to hold a conversation as yet, but to practice certain things might be useful. I’ve haven’t spoken it for several years.
I just like understanding other cultures and peoples better, (with geography & history), in particular Latin America as I originally learned Spanish there. As such, Spanish sits top of my must-refresh list of languages.
