I am nearing retirement (hopefully in 2028) and love to travel. Making plans of places I want to travel and explore. I have only been to Europe once in my life, when I was 21 (a long time ago!). I just found out a year ago (DNA) that I have 34% Italian heritage (Great-Grandparents were from Toritto and many generations before them). I have not yet met any of my italian relatives, most of them are in NYC, where my grandfather was born. I would like to learn some Italian for a future trip to visit the Bari area.
I am almost 57, married and live in Oregon, USA. I am curious and love to learn about other cultures, their languages and foods. I have an appreciation for architecture and many forms of art. I like to build things with wood (basic skills), paint, make jewelry (Crafting) and pottery (basic skills). I also spend a lot of time looking at real estate, just about anywhere in the world.
Most of my travel in the past 20 years has been in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
