Hi! I'm Ali, an international medical student studying in China. I speak fluent English and have passed HSK 3 in Chinese — now I'm looking to improve my speaking and listening skills through real conversations. In exchange, I’d be happy to help you practice English! I enjoy traveling around China, exploring local culture and food, and I'm also into fitness and learning about different lifestyles. If you're open to language exchange and making new friends, let’s connect!

I speak German (my native language), English and Spanish. In the past I also learned some French and Portuguese, but I honestly don’t remember much anymore. I even had Latin at school — but since I don’t have any Romans around to practice with, that one is gone too 😄 I’ve been traveling from South to North in Vietnam and will stay in Da Nang until the end of May. I’d like to use this time to learn the basics of Vietnamese because I realized that outside of the main tourist spots, English isn’t really widely spoken. My goal is simple: be able to handle everyday situations like ordering food and drinks, renting a place or a scooter, going kayaking, and asking for prices. I love being outdoors — hiking in the Swiss mountains, mountain biking, inline skating, packrafting — and of course traveling to discover new places and take photos along the way. I have a background in digital marketing and enjoy working on online projects and business ideas. I decided to slow down a bit and stay in one place for a longer period, living more like a digital nomad while focusing on developing my own digital projects. Looking forward to relaxed and interesting conversations and a good language exchange with friendly, open-minded people.

Hello! I am looking for a language exchange partner. I study Vietnamese (absolute beginner) and Thai (pretty advanced, fluent, so here I'm looking for someone to help me take it to the next level, such as improved pronunciation, better understanding of academic journals, etc.) I have experience teaching both English and Spanish, so I can really help you with both languages, whether you're a total beginner or looking to polish any of them!

Hi there! I'm Georgiana. I’m originally from Greece but have been calling the Netherladns home for my whole life now. I’m a bit of a language nerd; I’m already fluent in Greek, English, and Dutch, and I also speak German and French at a B2 level along with some basic Spanish. Despite all that, I’ve always wanted to master Japanese. I’ve been tackling it on and off for about two years now, and while it’s definitely a challenge, I’m determined to crush those JLPT exams eventually! When I’m not running my digital marketing business, you’ll probably find me watching anime or K-dramas, hanging out with my two cats, or at a pole fitness class. I’m also a huge fan of music and live concerts, and I never turn down a chance for some karaoke. I’m really looking for someone to help me find my "flow" in Japanese through speaking practice in exchange for help with English, Dutch, or Greek. Whether we’re diving into tricky grammar or just chatting about our favorite travel spots, I’m excited to make new friends and grow our skills together!
