Hi I'm Renee. I was born in hk but raised in Shanghai till I was 3, therefore I can speak cantonese, mandarin and shanghainese fluently due to my family background.
I'm a nurse educator at university. Basically I have to teach all the relevant subjects in English everyday. However, I have a common obstacle like many language learners do---it's hard to articulate my thoughts into words authentically... probably I'm lacking in cultural sense...
Due to the catchy melody of latin songs, I'm also trying to learn some basic Spanish as well, but I only do it as a hobby. (unlike English, I always polish it ambitiously in order to help me survive better at work...haha)
I hope we can help each other out and make our learning journey fruitful and fun! :)
I wish that one day we can all speak in our target languages eloquently as well as elegantly! :)
