Hei! Olen Milu. I live in Helsinki for 4 years but I didn't need suomi in daily life so I just started learning it 6 months ago. I simply love it's grammar and simplicity of word bases, but I haven't had much opportunity to practice speaking. My understanding is much better, somewhere at A2, so I started recently to spend more time with friends speaking puhekioeli. I advance quickly in learning so I will probably equal my language levels in a few weeks.
I know many things falling under interdisciplinary science (many fields both from social and natural science, medicine, history, etc.). I love doing sustainable architecture, permacultural design of habitats, personal development, and finding ways to make life interesting and not just a consumerist experience of pre-designed choices. I love reading, running, playing chess, traveling, and talking about though provoking topics. I would love to do language exchange with someone figuring out their own world so we could talk about life and practice suomi at the same time. :)

Moi! Olen 43-vuotias venäläinen mies. Tulin Suomeen Pietarista marraskuussa 2022. Nyt asun ja työskentelen Helsingissä.

When i wrote my first letters, it never entered my mind that with the passing years I would find myself in the text boxes of web pages writing about me.
my belief and my life have advanced like a glacial river, a torrent of sacred water born in the hidden heart of the Himalayan mountains, endlessly steering the flow of its current towards arnab, the sea. My opinions rejected nothing it could carry along in its course; it accepted passion, unravelled mystery and worked its way into the heart of the people who hear me.
i had to suffer and struggle, to love and sing; i drew my worldly share of triumphs and defeats, i tasted bread and blood. What more can a human want? And all the choices, tears or kisses, loneliness or the fraternity of man, survive in my opinions and are as essential part of it, because i have lived for my belief, and my opinions have nourished everything i have striven for.
Wanna learn French and Spanish (out of Passion) and Finnish and Swedish (to put life at ease). A serious photographer by passion, well travelled and well read as well. Don't have all of the time of my life. But if I always successfully make time for what I like.

I'm 33yo (married) native Finnish lady from the capital of Finland, Helsinki.
I have studied/been talking in English for 24 years, so I'd say I'm fluent in that one ;) I understand Swedish to an extent, and have dabbled in Italian, Japanese and Hungarian but due to my current interest I'm mostly invested in learning Korean at the moment.
I have studied it for 2 years or so (once a week + self study) so I'm at a very beginner level.
I have been interested in Korea since 2012 mostly for the culture and cuisine. After our first trip I got intersted in the Korean cosmetics, dramas and pop music :)
We visited Seoul Korea in 2016, then Seoul&Jeju in 2017 and soon (September 2019) we're visiting for the third time!
I have two dogs and I'm a very family-oriented person. I love reading, cooking&baking and travelling.
