Hi,
I was born in the UK (so native English speaker) and am of Pakistani origin (so I also speak fluent Urdu and Punjabi).
I am learning Arabic and would be interested in speaking to a native Arab speaker for practice.
I am learning formal (FUSHA) arabic so would prefer someone who sepaks and understands Fusha to talk with.
Please feel free to contact me and happy to teach English in exchange.
Many thanks,
(Ma as Salama)

I am a language enthusiast, looking to practise with native speakers.
My interest is specifically towards the 'Silk Road' or the region roughly delineated as Central or Inner Asia, the Caucasus, the Russian far east, western China (Xinjiang, Qinghai, Tibet, Gansu) and eastern Europe.
To that end, I have taken great pains - and great financial expense (!) - in trying to find language tuition for the Turkic, Sinitic and Slavonic languages.
Of course, you only progress as per your enthusiasm to practise, hence my coming to this website.
I should be interested in finding a conversation partner in Polish first, my 'heritage language', together with Russian and/or a Turkic language. If anybody is kind enough to try and tutor me for their personal sadistic bemusement, I should be very much obliged.
If you are wondering, the photograph is that of Rita Hayworth. I too, am a red-head, but not quite at her level of magnificence...yet...

Hi I work in the events business live in Camden Greater London.
I also lived and worked in Spain from 1986 to 88 and my Spanish was improving being very drawn to to the people and the culture this was a passionate endeavour.
Alas without enough interaction with Spanish people I have forgotten some of my Spanish.
I can still get by and be understood.
My hope is to practice and again improve my Spanish and to pass on my English skills.
